clean roomslow check-inreduced menu
The hotel room was clean. I guess that is something.
The check in took an eternity. Apparently, the staff had trouble with a new system. This "new system" also meant a drastically reduced menu, basically twenty items short of what they advertise online. They signed me up for IHG emails I never asked for.

Charming Stay at This Good Hotel

warm welcomeground floormidday checkoutbilling feature
The front desk staff offered a warm welcome. Jen, the ground floor housekeeper, helped me promptly with my requests. I was happy the hotel offers a midday checkout. The hotel also had a bath, which I always appreciate.
The feature for billing directly to my room was unavailable. I had to pay immediately for drinks and meals. It was inconvenient not to have this option available .
Location

The hotel is near Englefield Estate, where I attended a concert. A bus stop sits right across from the hotel, providing easy access to transport. The stage was only a mile walk away.
Service
10/10
The staff throughout the hotel exhibited friendliness and professionalism. Olena and Muhammed warmly welcomed me, addressing my dietary needs. Nava, the evening chef, prepared fabulous meals based on my requirements. The morning chef also ensured I had suitable, freshly made options.
